This is where I capture insights from my experiences and share thoughts for creating a thriving organisation that drives sustainable & responsible growth.
I will slowly populate this with the multiple articles and pieces I have written over the years. (Starting with a focus on the individual: our choices, behaviours, impact on ourselves and those around us - in the system)
Please… respect the silence
In our fast-paced environments silence gets overlooked, underrated and under-valued. Silence can be so powerful that it seems foolhardy to deny its rightful place in our lives.
Avoid the Distracting Issue
Do you know the kind of rabbit hole I mean? You ask someone, or a group of people what the “issue” is, and they tell you. You accept it at face value, and with good intent you begin to work to resolve the issue and find a solution.
Is it Positivity or Delusion?
Positivity and the need to think Positively seems to be a “thing” and whilst I am all for the power of the positive, I do wonder when positivity is as unhelpful as negativity.

Learning to Love Change - Taking the Strengths Approach to Moving Through the Four Rooms of Change
The Four Rooms of Change theory, model and research is the work of a Swedish professor, Claes Janssen. Janssen uses the metaphor of a doorway to highlight the work and exploration that needs to take place in order to progress from one Room of Change to the next. By combining the principles of AI with Janssen’s model, people can accelerate their growth and development; and an appreciation of change as a journey.
Swollen with Pride
Last month I introduced the 5-steps to Personal Growth: Readiness; Self-awareness; Detachment; Choice; Step-in. This month I want to share just one technique you can use for building your Self-awareness. There are many.
Are you ready for change?
Is your answer: “Always”; “Depends how uncomfortable I’m going to feel”; or is it “No thanks, I’m comfy where I am”?
What if I asked you if you were ready for growth?
Do you think it’s your job as a human being to try to be the best you can be and to evolve in the lifetime you have? If so, then you may be more ready for change than you think.
5 Steps to Personal Growth
At the risk of over-simplifying what is a life-long pursuit that most of us never “finish”, here is what I think we all need to master, to have a fighting chance.
Find your Strength/s
Don’t hide your Strengths: a Strength is so much more than (just) what you are good at.
Think of a time when you have been complimented on something you have done and felt a surge of pride. That’s probably because they were complimenting you on something connected to one of your (Realised) Strength.s
